Member Experience Associate - Job Description

We are looking for: Muskoka Collective is actively seeking a friendly, analytical and detail oriented person to assist the Manager at Muskoka Collective in the position of Members Experience Associate. The Members Experience Associate reports to the Manager and delivers our brand values through supporting our members and maintaining our coworking space. The strong community player creates a great member experience while executing operational tasks  with excellence.  

Position: Member Experience Associate
Start Date: September, 2022
Location: 16 Dominion Street, Bracebridge
Hours: Weekdays PT, 20hrs/wk.

Experience and Requirement  

  • Minimum 2 years experience with increasing responsibility in a customer service role  

  • Demonstrated time management skills 

  • Technical aptitude. Able to learn and work with a variety of software applications  

  • Able to diligently follow policies and procedures

  • Understands the importance of Brand and corporate communication

  • Passion for building strong communities  

  • High level of ethics, empathy and dependability 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills 

  • Pleasant and professional demeanor 

Responsibilities include: Member Experience, Building Maintenance and Daily Operations 

Member Experience – Foster relationships in the coworking space. Facilitate member-to member connections to create a strong community. 

  • Enforce member policies and procedures 

  • Book and conduct tours 

  • Welcome all guests and visitors 

  • Manage and facilitate meeting room bookings (IT support)

  • Onboarding new members 

  • Introduce new members to the community and facilitates connections 

Building Maintenance – Work with the Manager to keep building facilities clean and  operating at optimal performance.
  • Proactively manage stocking of consumables  

  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning 

  • Provide members with IT and facility support 

Daily Operations – General shared tasks with the Manager.  

  • Accept packages, sort mail and deliver 

  • Open and close space 

  • Keep floors clean, clear and safe 

  • Keep space tidy throughout the day. Stock coffee, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, and  handle waste management 

  • Front desk duties: Answer phones and monitor email and field general queries 

  • All other duties as assigned
